Hi

I'm so close to buying the L1T. I have an Inova X5 which is a couple years old.
How does the L1T stand up to this for comparison in all ways.
Brightness,spill,throw,lumens,battery life/power.

All input is welcome.
This Flashlight thing is addicted.

The X5 is a nice light. it's been around for at least a couple years. That says alot about it. It was an incredible advance in 5 mm LED technology. Those CR123's can be pricey but the result is worth it.
The L1T is a newer arrival a more powerful version of a proven light the L1P.
It is a single Luxeon compared with a "star" pattern of 5 5m LEDs. What is an advance over the X5 is the L1T's single AA power!!!
It's alot smaller than the X5 as well. You will have a new appreciation for both lights when you put them side by side. you could also consider the AA Civictor. it's an outstanding value.

Hi

Will I notice the difference in brightness in that the L1T will be brighter and have a better spill and throw.

Hello joplin:)

Yes, I own the old X5 and the L1P. That are 2 different lights. The throw of the Fenix is much more and the L1T should have more than my L1P.
Another big advantage is, you can put in a AA-nimh cell, so free lumens:)
Get one and you will be happy.

Best regards
