Dang. I really don't want to tear up my brand spanking new U2, but I've begun to notice that it has a purplish tint to it. On the 2 highest settings its' not terribly noticeable. But next to my L1 and TLE-5-MinistarII 2AA Minimag its' noticeable. I've head about these "X-bins" floating around. I certainly would not try it myself, I would send it to someone here on the forums that knows what theyre doing. Comments?

after getting the K2 emitter from fifthunit.com I have to wonder when SF will add this to their line. It is very white and has the best throw of any of my LED lights....

I'd be interested to see if anyone has done that swap

Send a PM to Sengoku. He modded mine with a WXOS and it is fantastic. He did a great job.

Good Luck!

Easy to do once you get the bezel open.

X bin if you can find one - I put a WXOS in mine a few months before a pile of X bins hit CPF but am still very happy with the results. Perhaps in a few years when a YWOR comes out I can put that in. :)
