here is the reply of optics...
my question is, why they are keep on pushin me to call surefire with my problem? i know they are not the makers of this light, but i think they do have responsibility of it. in my case, after i receive this to fedex open the package and did a report instantly to them. all i need now is take a full refund which i paid.
as stated on their policy, correct me if am wrong. they just do FULL refund for those DOA.

Hello Arwin,
Let me clarify...
I have no intention of "blowing you off". If you're not happy with the product you bought you can of course return it in accordance to our return policy :

Here is the deal though, NO ONE including myself can guarantee anymore than the manufacturer does. I doubt any dealer would open all of their L6's to check the finish and have everyone else get an open box. If your variance in color is small Surefire probably won't accept that as a problem but if it severe (or perhaps if you are firm enough with them) they do provide excellent service and will replace whatever is necessary. I have seem them do it before. This is why they have such a great warranty and it would be the only way you can actually try to have someone "hand pick" the light for you.
I would think twice about sending the light anywhere including Surefire since as you know all LED models are taking a very long time. I still don't have any L2,L4,L5,L6's etc. You might get stuck with nothing...
As you have probably seen by now I take pride in giving good customer service and being quick and responsive. On top of this we give the best deals anywhere with those CPF discounts which are available. If it is not clear to you we are on the same side here. I want you to be 100% happy with this light and not return anything, but even I have limits to what I can do about it. I don't make these lights.
If you still want to return it to us please make sure to review our refund policy above and let me know you need an RMA.
Again Have a great weekend.
