Could any owner of a brass Arc AAA post a picture of it? Being quite a new member here, i didn't get a chance to see it.

Hi Alan,
the brass Arcs are not available anymore...
frown.gif

There were only a couple made (8 I think) and they were auctioned for the benefit of CPF.

(needless to say they were great money raisers, there was one going for over 300 dollars...

Here is a pic of the most brass AAA's you'll ever see together.

Was it ever explained why these wouldn't be made commercially available? They look beautiful, and there's lacquer coating techniques available for brass that are extremely durable.

Those brass Arcs look so cool, now we need something even better.

How about a Ti Arc packaged with an elusive lithium AAA battery ?

Dear X-Ray, Is your LE light-colored like your posts or darker like your collection picture?

Hi Carl,

It's hard to judge how the color of my LE compares with the average (I only own one, the collection shots belong to someone else)

Looking at other peoples pictures it would seem that mine is slightly lighter than the average.

The picture in my sig line looks very light, but I think this was caused by the close proximity of the camera flash.

Picture with camera flash on:

The same flashlights with camera flash off:

As you can see the flash makes quite a difference to the color of the Arc LE.

This last picture is about the closest I have to the actual color of my LE (was taken with no flash and adjusted with photoshop for an accurate match)

Hope that helped
