Hi there,

I just picked up a Stanley Tripod 369 flashlight yesterday when a
friend wanted to sell it. He also got two smaller ones that he wanted
to keep.
It has 6 regular white LEDs in it. It must have a micro controller in it
because it can sense the voltage in each tripod leg and it uses the
highest voltage leg it can find to power the LEDs, and it has three
level settings, low, med, and high, accessable via a single light touch
pushbutton switch.

I paid 10 dollars for it, so what do you think, good deal or no?

It's on the web all over the place.

Thanks.

$10 is ok. I bought one for the regular price...a waste. Low light levels, very ringy. It's ok for an emergency light- but not much else.

Hi again,

I was also thinking of clamping another 'good' light to the head to be able
to use the tripod with a nice high powered LED light.
