e2d strike bezel on kL4 head

I have a e2d light and a Kl4 head and want to put the strike bezel on the KL4 head how hard is this to do are there any tricks to doing so..or step by step instructions anywhere...i searched and didnt find much

You just have to unscrew the bezels and switch them. The only thing is you need strap wrenches because Surefire uses glue on the bezels and sometimes can be very hard to break the glue.

I used a hair dryer to heat up the bezels. They unscrewed easily after the glue melted.

the hair dryer trick worked great thanks....also did any of you put a glue or sealant back on the threads after?? i was wondering if it makes a difference or not

I used blue Loctite to secure the bezel. Make sure you clean the threads well before applying the adhesive.

Yep just unscrew ans switch, I used a torch for heat probally way oferkill but it worked. I even have a L2 with a E2D strike bezal.
