Shaq In A Cop\'s Uniform

There was a ceremony in L.A. honoring police officers and who is there but Shaq in full police attire!

He's a reserve officer for the LAPD and he was talking to the press about his first arrest! Can you imagine being pulled over by this 7 foot cop /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

2 things...

1) OOoo...Shaq is a reserve officer?!

and

2) OOoo...you can be a reserve officer?! Where and how do i sign up to be one? I'd like to be an LEO after college so i'm wondering if i can go to college and be a reserve officer at the same time. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Shaquille O'neal was doing TV commercials for Milky Way brand candy bars not long ago - he's a cop now?!?

Actually, he doesn't get paid as a Reserve Officer. It is done on a volunteer basis - and they always ride with a tenured officer. He's still 100% L.A. Laker.
