i was hoping for a 2x123 5w version. like sf's KL4 offering.

anybody else? 3x123 is too big, but the trade off is runtime.

Like SureFire's KL4 offering apart from it's larger, unregulated, not an accessory for exsisting models, not Mil. Spec. Level III Hard Anodised and not featuring an optically coated Pyrex Lens.

I hope that Streamlight's proto-type shown at SS2003 was a work in progress.

Wow... Not sure what to think. The TL-3 LED looks pretty nice, especially if they have good quality Luxeons... Bright Guy lists it at $104. Not bad at all. :)

One too many zeroes. I don't believe it unless it is highly underdriven and at 85 Lumens, I doubt it is underdriven.
