I didn't understand "warm/cool/tint" etc, until now.

I have what to many on here would be a small collection, assorted Fenix lights and some Romisen RC-N3 Q5 and an EX10.
(Surefire/Malkoff on the way, but that's another story for another post... :))

Often when reading posts, people are keen to know what sort of tint or color the LED has, or if it's warm etc. I've even noticed it on the MarketPlace, sellers describing 1 cree Q5 as one thing and another cree Q5 described differently.

I never really understood this, as all my lights always seemed exactly the same...., until now.

I just got 2 x Romisen RC-G2 from DX.

One of them has a beam color the same as all my other lights, but the other I'm not really sure how to describe. I suppose the nearest I can think of is "warm" or maybe slightly yellow. It reminds me of my maglite solitaire a bit, but of course a lot brighter.

It's not just the hotspot that is like that, it's all of the light.

I'm glad I've now actually seen a difference between what on paper would be identical LEDs.
It just shows that some things you do have to see to learn.
