i sent in my arc aaa for service but was stupid enough not to insure it. anyway, i got a call from cindy, i think was her name, and was told they received my letter without the flashlight. someone had cut a slit in the envelope and stole it. without my having to say more, she said she was sending me a replacement anyway. i'm glad to say i own 4 arcs, with possibly more in the future.

Thanks for saying that. Sometimes we get a couple of days behind (especially on the weekends and holidays).

Btw, I saw you envelope you sent the light in and it looked like someone cut the end of the envelope and removed the light. It may have been done to keep from jamming the sorting machine at the Post Office (but then why didn't they say anything?). I do recommend a larger envelope than one intended for letters.

A friend of mine had her leatherman micra stolen when she sent it in for warranty service.

envelope was slit, and she even taped the seams beforehand.

because she insured it, no problems.
