Hey guys, this may be old news but I just got a reply from Gregory Lin from surefire regarding LED conversions and new LED weapon lights. He said They expect them to hit the market sometime between Sept-Dec 2009. I specifically asked about the M900A weapon light and the conversions will be LU10L (standard) and LU10LT (Turbo). No specs included though. Seems like these lights are a little over do!!! Does anyone have any more information??

That's the same info I've heard. Sept-Dec 2009 just means "Hopefully, by the end of the year".

The LU10L is 350 lumens minimum and uses an SSC P7 LED and a 1.9" reflector.

The LU10LT uses the same LED but has a 2.5" TIR. It should throw well.

Did you get a price for these?

No pricing has been released yet for the 'quad-core' weaponlight upgrades.

All of the available info is in the 2009 catalog.

I think it's reasonable to consider the product information and proto-types as conceptual and proof-of-concept rather than pre-production or production-viable details.
IMHO like the projected release date(s), things can and do tend to change.
