i have a 3c mag that is so old it originally ran on coal, i just recieveed a new 3d mag led and the difference between the 2 is amazing. the c cell has an led drop in but it doesn't put out half the light the d cell does. is it possible (read fairly easy) to swap the internals between the two? thanx.......county bob

The newer Rebel one or the older Luxeon one? If it's the older Luxeon one, then you should see other lights. Even more impressive. The Rebel one is pretty good as is, but you can't swap the internals.
A Cree XP-G mod for the 3C could be a nice way of improving output. All you need to know is how to solder, and then get the parts.
