As the title says, I'm in the market for a light with a lot of throw. I'm looking at a Thrunite Catapult V2. What are your opinions? Go with the Catapult or something else?

Requirements:
1. Great throw
2. Atleast 700 lumens OTF
3. Under $200.00
4. Runs on 18650's or CR123's

Better to spec Lux for a thrower and not Lumens. My RQ with about 200 Lumens is on par with my Catapult V1 i.t.o. throw.

There is not much in the way of an LED light < $200 and > 700 lumens that will out-throw the catipult. Perhaps the EagleTac M2XC4 is the only I can think of.

The Catapult V2 seems to be producing about 600 lumens out the front. However, I seriously doubt that you'd notice the difference between 600 and 700 lumens.

As stated above, if you want throw and only look at Lux, you have many more choices: Tiablo A10-G, Solar Force Masterpiece Pro-1, Deerlight DBS, etc. Those are all less then 700 lumens though but all will out-throw a catipult (especially the A10-G)

I can really recommend you the Tiablo A10. A lot of people say that it's not practical because it is a pure thrower but it has decent spill too. I really like my A10.
