SST-50 Dome Re-Attach ?

I recently purchased a new custom light (a jetbeam RRT-0 with an SST-50 emitter) and unfortunately i caused damage to it already. When trying to test different reflectors in the light, i made a mistake of tightening a reflector (that was not bored out for the larger emitter) too tight onto the emitter breaking off the protective dome on top of the SST-50. The light still functions correctly, but my question is:



How will the emitter be affected without the dome covering it?

Can the dome be re-attached? If so, what adhesive should be used?
