What the titanium one? My aluminum low is so low I can find no use for it. I've set the floor the level 5 which is just about perfect for navigating in the dark with sensitive eyes. Ya $58 shipped is great.

I have to sit in the dark for a hour to get my eyes adjusted to go that low well the old ts10 low I'll have to check out if I can use the new one after eyes adjust to dark

fwiw

the default lowest setting in advanced smooth ramp is the lowest

lower than advanced stepped ramp.. and lower than both simple mode smooth and step ramp

they can all be changed to your preference

So you set the ceiling to 90. Which is what you recommended for my aluminum model as the top of 7135 and 120L. But you claim your tits10 sustains about 225 lumens. How, if level 90, your max level on that light, is only 120L.

I was browsing some of my photos and thought you might be interested in my Ti TS10 cheat sheet and sustainable output configuration notes

It seems that level 90 on a Ti light is about twice as bright as level 90 on an Aluminum light

this is the cheat sheet for my Aluminium settings, I use a ceiling of 120, not 90 as in the Ti model

Gotta wonder why they made the factory settings for the one with worse thermals twice as bright.
I've got mine setup pretty much the way I like it.
5-120 ramp
Stepped 7 levels plus turbo( I barely use turbo but like having it)
Level 90 memorized mode
55c temp ceiling

And I rarely go past my memorized mode either. So battery life has gotten better. Probably use it equally between actual use and high aux so I charge every other day

I dont really know.. my guess is that was an unintended consequence of changing the low mode spacing..

another change is that the Ti models ship w Advanced ceiling set to 150/150.. it was a mistake, for reasons I wont try to explain.

I change my Ti ceiling to 90/150, just above the sustainable output of 225 lumens... which is similar to the Max output of my HDS, which is 200 Lumens

glad you have found the settings that work for your needs ;-)

Misty night tonight but not particularly cold. Walking the dog and cranked the little guy up to high/120. Unusually I'm I'm level 4/5. It gets pretty warm on high. Temp set to 55c. Was pretty damn bright though. Had to double check ceiling was set correctly. And it was
