Been using a Streamlight BatonLite for about 10 years and some of the tiny Inova Microlights. Would have liked a new updated BatonLite, as the thing has been bulletproof.
So, after looking around this forum a bit, decided to order some new toys:
Hopefully I picked a decent selection.
The AAA I suspect goes on the wife's keychain. The others I will kust have to see where they fall, altho I suspect the Quark Mini AA2 will replace my BatonLite. The others will get glovebox duty most likely.
Someday maybe someone will come out with another BatonLite, or perhaps I'll make my own by canabalizing the workings from some other 2xAAA light (more a time issue than anything else, as I have a metal lathe and such). I saw an old string of posts on updating it to a newer LED, but I'm not exactly handy on the electronics/soldering side.
I'm not sure that anything I picked out has quite the same form factor or durability as the BatonLite. They should all be a lot brighter tho.
