E2Dl 200 lumen vs pelican 9410 710 lumen brightness

I have had both these two lights for some months now and here are my observation concerning their brightness.



The Pelican 9410 is definitely the light you want to have if you are going into a buliding looking for someone through smoke! The light has excellent side spill plus a super hot spot and throw! It is noticably brighter than the E2DL to the eye which you would expect being it has 710 lumen OTF. I would say my E2DL is about 250-300 lumen with fresh CR123 cells. The Pelican 9410 does have a 300 lumen mode and this looks about the same as the E2Dl hot spot on high mode.
