Hi folks,
Well it seems that all of those strobe features have now been made obsolete (like they ever were more than a slow-to-access gimmick in most of our fun lights).
Here is the story from Scientific American: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=patent-watch-apr-11
What I find compelling is that this device is supposed to only use a 75 watt lamp focused just the right way yet can disable a person's visual senses for up to 20 minutes.
So when can I get this as a drop in for a Surefire 6P, or better yet a new LED with a body that all together fits comfortably in a pocket?!?
Seriously though, this does look interesting as an alternative to "stun gun" type devices that also fits into the flashlight category.
