2D Maglite with 3-6D Malkoff Dropin and 2xAW-IMR26500

Is anyone running/tried this setup? Seems like very sweet combination for decent investment thrower/flooder and best of all - you can choose a color (like Blue in my case)... the runtime should be well over 6 hrs in this setup and it should even be safe enough as vehicle flashlight since it would use IMR's...

I do realise that I just made a decision for my next "build" that I will have to stalk Malkoff Devices for this dropin to be available for weeks/months now... lol... oh, sweet anticipation...

I already have Triple XPG in C3 build and Hound Dog XML in MD3 build BUT... the idea of having BLUE host with 6x more runtime than above setups is really keeping me wondering... plus it's relatively cheap build (especially if TerraLux 4-6D LED is used for even longer runtime)...

I've use the Malkoff 3-6 C cell dropin in a bored 2C body powered by two IMR 26500s.
In the 2D host I use two IMR 26650s as the 26500s are too short. You do have to shorten the tailcap spring.
