Hi everybody,

This is my first time to post in candlepowerforums. Somethings want to ask,
I bought a 12P flasheslights yesterday,
I just turn on for a few seconds and I touch the
glass of the light's head, I feel very hot.

So can anyone tell me what is the continuous runtime for the G&P 9P and 12P flasheslights?
I can't the any information in the package.

Thanks a Lot!!

Welcome to CPF zyk!

Do you mean the G&P replicas of SureFire's products?

I didn't know there was a G&P 12P. Can post or email me some photos please?

I can tell you what the runtimes are for SureFire products.

SureFire 12PM - Four SF123As powering the N62 Lamp Assembly will give you approximately 12 minutes runtime. If you use it constant-on, the batteries will get too hot and shut down after about 3 minutes.

The SureFire 9P - Three SF123As powering the P90 Lamp Assembly will give you approximately 60 minutes runtime.

The SureFire 12PM & 9P have Lexan (polycarbonate) lenses and not glass. It is possible that if left constant-on in a hot or confined space, that the Lexan will be deformed and melt. However, in normal momentary use, it is rare that your SureFires Lexan lenses will be damaged.

I hope this helps, however, it would be useful to find out some information about exactly what flashlight you have got.

Best regards,

Al
