Got my AA...very nice light. It feels so beefy in the hand and is significantly brighter than any of my 3 AAAs.
I am just curious bout one thing...underneath the base of the light there is black...looks like someone took a Sharpie and filled it in! The entire flat part under the bottom is filled in and it goes about halfway up the rim. Also, I see a little bit of black on the head in between the knurling.
It's not enough to keep me from being enamored with the light, but I am just curious if anyone else has this black Sharpie looking stuff on theirs, especially under the bottom?
What could this be?
I bought this presumably new, from Bright Guy (who by the way did a fabulous job getting the light to me in a timely manner...thanks Norm!).
