Welcome...and yeah the TK10 is an older design...the TK11 essentially replaced it. The older emitter was fine I suppose...lower output but still not great run-times compared to the newer TK11.

You should not use the lanyard that comes with the flashlight it scratches the paint . I use a candle wik string .
Do you have pics on where it scratches the finish? I might end up taking it off

I dont have pictures , the scratches are are at the bottom of the flashlight near ther switch where there is an attachment hole for the lanyard . Only used the lanyard two or three times , they are small scratches/ anodizing missing and can see aluminium less then 1mm and a few of them .
