Found a mint Surefire 3P at the gun show today, is there any drop in LED upgrade that would work OK for that old light? (3V, but same size as a 6P , I think)

Guys, I appreciate the advice, I went with this one from Lighthound, [Solar Force LC-1 Cree R5 Drop-In Single Mode 0.8V-4.2V] based on the premise that I didn't want to turn a cheap bargain into a cheap expensive bargain, if you know what I mean. I presume that this voltage range, .8 to 4.2v should be OK for a single primary 123, right?
