Hi all,
I had this sink made a while back, and just finally got around to using it. Its a direct bond to the post. The PCB is just a shroud that is for electrical contacts.
Here is a shot with it dwarfing a standard size mag sink.
This sink is so long it would not fit down in a regular neck so a double ended cut was made to remove the factory switch hole. It actually took me 2 mag bodies to get enough knurl to so that it would not be all at one end.
A 10 amp clickie switch was then needed.
In addition to the massive sink the body now houses 3x 26650s (not included). Going with a 3 cell setup vs only 2 has the befit of a slightly longer run time, and a much higher output (about a thousand extra lumens).
The trees on the far end of that field are around 720 feet.
Price is $377 shipped. SOLD
