I have never liked carrying any of the Surefire flashlights in anything but a jacket pocket, or a holster, where the likelyhood of accidental activation is minimized.
The relatively new lockout tail caps are a good solution for the flashlights they fit, but they are expensive, and aren't available for the E2
I like carrying my 'primary' flashlight on my belt, where I can get to it quickly, if needed.
But all summer, I've had to leave my E2 behind, and carry one of my 6P's, because I can't find a really nice holster for it; like the ones ureFire makes for their larger flashlights. I carry a small knife on my belt, in a small nylon case. I don't want to use a knife case for the E2; I don't want some eager rookie police officer to think I have a small *and* a large knife, and make me prove it's 'just a flashlight'. Besides, the large knife is in my pocket, and travelling between various cities and counties in my state, it's legal in some, not legal in others. I rather not have a pat down, followed by the almost certain confiscation of my $100 knife, that I will have to fight to get back. (This happened to me once, already, when I had a standard Buck Hunter 110 on my belt)
So does anyone know of a source for a nice holster for the E2, or beter yet, know when SureFire is going to be making them?
Thanks!
