First of all, I've received my AAA and AA via FedEx. These lights are fantastic.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif

I also orderd an Arc-AA for my father. The reflector of his AA is less deep than mine. As a result less light is reflected. His AA is a bit less bright. Is this normal?
Should I post beamshots?

What you may be seeing are normal variations in LED height. This would mostly affect beam distribution and not total output. Total output, on the other hand, is more likely to be affected by variations in LED flux.

I'm sure that one reflector is deeper than the other (about 2 mm). The less brightness from my fathers AA in comparison to mine is hardly noticeable.

I'm just curious if variations in reflector depth are also normal.

Variations in the reflector are possible because we use several suppliers. Although parts from a particular supplier should be pretty close to each other (a couple of tenths). You may also be seeing two different revisions.
