KL3 Old & New: Complementary?

Yes, If u buy both u will have both a good flood light and a long throw spot light. Anyway, the new KL3 really throw well with a big spot but with little flood for close range. I should know cos i have 1... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The new KL3 is not released so there is no pricing yet. However i guess it will sell ard the $60+ region cos thats what the old KL3 cost.

Or if one of the local modders on here could open it up and put in a reflector. I'm not sure but I think it's been done before. Then you'd get sidespill light and a tight spot in one light!

Looks like it should have enough room for a reflector in the new KL3 - but at least the one I got is great as is.

There´s a new gizmo securing / fixing the emitter to properly align it with the optic and its a very nice design IMO.
