Just got my Surefire U2 --------- /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wow.gif !!!!!

I'll let you know what I think after I get some playtime during
the 4th of July weekend. I've changed my mind, this
light is absolutely something I do need.

Now I'm absolutely intoxicated ....... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/happy23.gif

Pwdrkeg,

I am glad that it seems that the U2 might be ideal for you. Please let us know your feelings on it once you have been able to use it.

All My Best,
John

Ah yeah ... the U2 is one hell of a utility light. For all those who like the KISS principle and prefer non-UI lights, this one is a dream.
In fact it was my preferred grab-light for almost a year untill it got replaced by the McLuxIII-PD.

I just recently got my U2 too, and i also love it!!

It's just so incredibly useful for almost anything i could want to do, be it moving around the house at night, or blasting it into my friend's window to get him out of the house! I'm finding the multiple light levels very useful, although i think i would like to have a lower low-end (like 0.7 lumens) and a higher high end (like 100 lumens). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Hopefully Surefire will make one of those soon. Till then, i'm lovin my U2!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif
