Re: What's in your avatar?

mine shows a lupine spe-lu which is a 26 led dimmable headlamp. I once wrote a review about it but it's currently not searchable/accessable.

Re: What's in your avatar?

I miss my avatar, and am waiting to be able to add it back again. It was just a shot of my hand holding a regulation, Star Fleet issue, Type II phaser.

Re: What's in your avatar?

My current avatar is one of the versions of the famous "Keep On Truckin" artwork from the 70's done by Robert Crumb. I grew up in the era of this image and it just feels right for me.

I have quit using some of my past avatars, usually by request, due to the graphic being too large, or animated gif was too distracting, or when the image I was using was nearly identical to another forum poster.

A break in the ice, some oddly hued photons being "managed" via reflection.

Many creative, artful and humorous avatars on this board.

Where is the little kitty cat gif that eats the red X? Cracks me up.

I just really like Calvin and Hobbes. I work for the Division of Outdoor Recreation for the Indiana DNR and like the two of them walking outside.

Re: What's in your avatar?

A while ago, when CPF was down because it has been transfered to the new machine, Sascha said in CPF Underground:
"It's not just CPF. It's a long and complicated story but suffice it to say, when this all gets fixed, we are going to be on our new server box... our permanent home. And I will be able to enable avatars and do the full indexing of all of the files so the search function will be working properly as well."
What's up now? I want my avatar!

I don't have one, but if I did, it would probably be this:

Too bad the X5T-chaku looks terrible when downsized :(

Re: What's in your avatar?

I'm a dog person. I work with a nationally recognized trainer and behaviorist. In the continuing process of my education, I've also worked with wolves.

So, since wolves are sort of the uber-dog, and my personality bears a peculiar resemblance, there you go.

Some others I've used:

ava-cowboy-ORG.gif
ava-light-ORG.gif
red-dog-crop.gif
ava-facepaint-ORG.gif

I think the second one would be kind of cool here, but I like my wolf.
