What are the most popular Surefire models?

I currently have a G2Z and am getting an M6 in a few weeks. What are their most popular models with high sales figures (in your opinion)?

Overall, probably the 6P and G2, at least to the general public. I'm not sure how much they sell to military contractors.

Might be an M3 or M6 in there too.

6P is probably #1 with the G2 and E2e right behind. I think just about everyone on this forum who has more than 10 lights have atleast 2 of the above lights.

If searches on Google are any indication, the 6P and G2 are the top 2 (very close) followed by the E2D.

On this forum, the E2DL, E1B, A2 and L1 seem to get the most discussion. I agree, though, that the 6P is probably the most popular by total sales figures.

At our department you can find:

The 6P and every model that led to it
The G2
The G3

1 E2l

My collection.

The first three are the majority with a couple of Streamlight Stingers thrown in.

I think the G2 and G3 are the most prominent.

Given I've said that, I don't think anyone else I've ever seen owns a SureFire or even knows who SureFire is.

I would say the 6p. seeing as alot of non-flasholhalics use them, and it is one of the only surefires sold in retail stores.

I would guess the 6p, since it is still what most people think about, when they think of a high quality, "tactical" flashlight.

the most popular for me is definitely a C2 and/or a C3 with a P90 lamp assembly. They both give excellent light, the only drawback is, with the C2 you only have about half an hour of runtime with 2X R123s in it. That's why I like the C3 equally, although it's a bit longer: this one lasts nearly an hour with 2X 17500s in it...

I'd say 6P and G2, more if you consider their LED versions.

I read somewhere that the Z2 is the standard issued flashlight for the Marshalls and/or FBI.

Both the 6PL and G2L are sold at Lowe's now.
