Can you guys recommend some of the brighter choices out there, in the 12v spotlights that could be used in a vehicle.

Most spotlights are 12V, even the HID spotlights. All you would have to do is take out the battery and plug it into your vehicles 12V source.

Make sure the current draw is not to much for the wire size and you will be fine.

Hey, take a snoop through the spotlight / HID section and see if there's anything there that suits.

Also, you can try to narrow down the options by adding requirements like max price you will pay, flood vs pencil beam, stating the type of function you need it to perform etc.

PLENTY of kind folk here to help.

Hi Righty and welcome!

i really like the "Collins Dynamics" hand held vehicle powered search lights. they are quality through and through. Mine has a rocker switch on the back to choose between flood and very long range throw. Easy to work on also...easy access to bulbs.

You might have to give us a max price since we don't want to scare anyone..:eek:oo:
