Does it exist?

Here's what I'm looking for...

Light must be over 500+ Lumens Out-The-Front.

Must have a rear forward-clicky.

Must ALWAYS come on at MAX brightness!

Switches to strobe with a half-press of the clicky.

NO other modes or settings what-so-ever.

Able to carry in my pocket with a bezel down clip.

Is there anyway to make this by putting various parts together if I can't buy it off the shelf somewhere?

You would think this would exist somewhere being it is the optimal tactical EDC configuration (in my opinion, anyways).

Thanks!

Thanks, but unfortunately is is Out of Stock. I sent them an email asking when it would be back in stock. Too bad about the non-clip issue. I guess a belt holster would work, but the holster you listed is bezel up... I prefer bezel down for quick draw purposes.

Thanks a lot.

Lets see what else people come up with.

Any P60-type drop-ins that do what I'm looking for?

I contacted Alan from Dereelight and he said he may be able to help me out. Anybody have any experience buying customized things from Alan?

I will probably see Mike on January 2nd at the next local gun show. He has this light as a display model that I've played with (was thinking about buying one myself). Maybe he will have some more in stock by then and could recommend a different holster.

The P60 style drop-ins that have tested at close or over 500 lumens are the Moddoo Tripple R2 at 560ish OTF lumens. It gets hot in 3 minutes on high and no longer available.

The Gene Malkoff M60 MC-E did 480ish OTF Lumens and runs cool at only 2.4A.

Now, if Gene drives the MC-E in his P60 hosts at 2.8A you may get the 500 OTF momentarily, but it would be back down due to heat. Still, his MD3 hosts with 2 AW 18500 cells and 2 stage ring will give you exactly what you are looking for.

If you go with his wildcat MD3; while it is not P60 compatible it will give you over 600 OTF lumens.

I think G&P makes a 6P compatible tailcap that does this... HI-Strobe.

I dont know any further details about it though (current capacity, durability, internal resistance...etc...). Maybe this type of tailcap paired with a direct drive MCE or P7. That should get you close to 500L OTF if you use an IMR 18650, the tailcap adds an easily accessible strobe.

Yup.

I've got one of those. You can get one from Lighthound.com

One thing though ... It's a battery-drainer, and a pretty bad one too.
I can't recommend it.

2 x 18500 (18650?) cells are too long for pocket carry in my opinion. Also, does the MD3 have the MAX > Strobe modes that I want?

Wow, these look cool though. Any info on when they will be back in stock? I know this isn't exactly what you want Yalsky, but what about taking the pill/driver out and putting it in a light body you do like so you can mount it right side up. Sounds like it's the driver/led combo you are being picky (err, SELECTIVE...:D) about. May be an option.

Nailbender makes 1, 3, or 5 mode P60 dropins with P7\SST-50\SST-90; a high-binned SST-50 should put out 500-600 fairly easily with an 18650.
