Now another off the wall question. After it dries is ordinary Loctite 2 part epoxy electrically conductive?? Probably not going to admit why I need to know.
Unfortunately, during the pour two of the wires must have touched together. Now I am using a Dremel to remove hard epoxy. I did not think it was conductive either. Can't be.
Regular two-part epoxy is not electrically conductive. There are some grades that are filled with fine metal or other conductive particles that can be marginally conductive.
Secure bare wires with a little drop of epoxy before encapsulating an assembly. There are many epoxy grades but the common types are 5-minute and 24 hour cure. Use the 5-minute type for tacking the wires and the 24 hour type for encapsulating.
