Hi, i'm looking for a driver and can't find any..
I'd like to have 3 modes and up to 1.6A would be pretty nice...power source is 1xli-ion and host is a shortened d-mag.
I'm out of ideas at the moment and don't know what i should put in, i have a 5-mode driver here, but 1A seems a bit low to me for such a big host...and strobe is annoying...however, i tried a trustfire 3-mode p7 driver with high/low/strobe 2 hours ago, which was removed from it's p7 host, because it only delivered 1.6A..output was good, but it died under mysterious circumstances :D (it was no magic smoke involved)

I don't have specific experience with this driver, but it looks like you can use DX SKU7612 for the 3-modes, and piggyback an additional AMC7135 to get 1.4A output.

The 3-mode regulated driver from Shiningbeam is a 1.2A driver.

Not sure if that is enough current for you.
I'll be using one of these to swap the driver on my XP-G drop-in that I got from DX recently.

Does it work if i solder another 7135 ic on top of one? I need to order drivers from sb anyways, but at the moment they don't seem to have the p7/mc-e driver in stock...

What host? A Shark Buck with Remora fits the stated requirements.

you are correct sir. As long as you solder cleanly, you can get 4x7135 chips at 1.4A, 50% and 10%
