Hi all,
I just found my slightly missing Luxogen LR12W....

It was inside the dryer.

It survived a trip inside the washing machine while inside some pants...

and a trip in the dryer mostly OUTSIDE said pants, making a nice clanging sound as it slammed into the drier fins...

Not a scratch on it.

Go HA3!

I have 2 that have been carried quite a bit and they haven't a scrach on them. nice to hear yours went thru that unscathed. I hope you have modded yours with seouls as well. they upgrade VERY well.
cheers.

This is the CR2 flashlight? What did you use to open it up? I couldn't find anything that was small enough to fit in those holes to unscrew the led module.

try some scissor tips. shouldn't take much force.

A smaller ring pliers works great as well.

How long before you realized what the banging sound was?
its hard to tell whats what, especially if the washer/dryer is off axis...
sounds like machinegun fire when its on final spin, we did et it replaced though.

my G2s been through, scorpions been through, minimags went through twice
you cannot know for sure unless you count your lights or know the sound of your laundry machine well enough.

My wife's Luxogen LR5A (the HAIII 123A Luxogen) is on her keychain alongside many many keys, a Leatherman Micra, a Kershaw Baby Boa, and other metal objects that all bang around in her purse. So far, not a scratch on the Luxogen! Pretty damn nice. My brother-in-law's black Fenix P1 through similar treatment (in his pocket next to his keys, but much less keys, and no leatherman or knife) had the HAIII missing on every sharp surface.

no Seoul just yet, i dont have one.....i do like the little puck though.

Yep, CR2.

i didnt realise for about 40 min :p
