Looking on their site, it says 295 lumens for the Ultrastinger. Is it true that Streamlight just measures their lumens at the bulb, and not the actual light that hits the reflector and passes through the lens like SF?
Has anyone figured out an accurate lumens rating for the Ultrastinger, Stinger or Scorpion?
And one more question.
I own a Stinger, and it says 15,000 candlepower. I'm aware of the fallacies of using this type of measurement, but when compared to the claimed 75,000 CP of the Ultrastinger, is the higher CP measure of the Ultrastinger just due to a larger reflector, and therefore a tighter beam (which results in a higher candlepower measurement)? Is there any real lumen difference in the Stinger and Ultrastinger?
