Hi, anyone from Singapore whom has a Mag-Mod or has interest in building one, well i am in slow process of building a mag100 .......

nice to know i am not the only one doing it at the small island

i will be using eneloop instead due to silverfox tests....

i need yr help on the battery holder part though ....

be using those batteries holders from SLT, or 'see' how much to get those shops to assemble for me or have to diy ........

how u charge? individual or pack?

oh had the 100w 12v orsram xenophoto already and will be at SLT later today to look for parts, but unfortunately, no further funds for the maglite yet .....

Actually SLT sometimes is quite limited; for e.g I can't find li-ons at the batt shop there. The guy say no one brings in.

Mine are charged individually (I have 2 chargers tho, a 30min and a 3hr). I almost bought a pack charger but never got down to it.

My batt holder quite roughly put together... not very good at all... but I'll try to help what I can Emilion released some Li-on D cells 5200 mah and I believe now another member is gathering interest also; that would be much easier. Just 3 pcs in mag 3D and you get your 12v, and the 5200 mah can easily take the 8-9A the mod requires. Less sag and no self-discharge also.

I can't remember the results on Silverfox's test with the Eneloops, but they would be required to do 4C to power 8-9A.

i think my standard battery holder mod, will melt tomo when i will wait for it to dry off.

anyway, need to get the battery holder right before i get the maglite, of course, when have spare cash ....

i will try some other mod to see how it goes, thanks for advice

oh i meant SLS 2nd floor, near those makan shops, sells batteries ..... somehow the webby is having another address ....

the shop assistance is petite and short and very cute
