Anyone using Rechargeables on their Surefire L1?

Just checking if the Surefire L1 can handle a RcR123 @3.7 volts..

I'm not sure if I should be, but they seems to work fine. I use them exclusively in that light now.

i use the Lighthound green Ultrafire 3.0v R123 and it works well, and I don't have to worry about over driving the light.

I used LiFePO4 rechargeable without any problem, but I don't use them anymore due to their low capacity (500mah at best).
