Bad Thread Titles - Very annoying

These ambiguous titles are what I call "cliff-hanger" titles or "bait titles."

In my opinion, most posters do this as a deliberate strategy to get otherwise uninterested members of the forum to view their thread. I've made it a habit NOT to view ambiguously-titled thread.

I think if everyone in CPF were to start skipping over these types of thread then posters would be more specific with their titles.

There are "teaser" or bait titles, and then there are titles that are just cryptic or meaningless. A well written bait title is fine with me, especially if the OP's post is interesting too. It's probably more appropriate for the Cafe than it is for a tech subforum, since part of the purpose of the Cafe is to stimulate conversation for the sole purpose of entertainment.
