My vote goes to the Malkoff MD4 Wildcat. It can run on 18650 x 2, or 4 x CR123's.

550ish Lumens on high, 30ish on low.

The Malkoff MD4 is a real tank of a light, well-designed and tough as nails. It is also very bright and has a beautiful beam. Mr. Malkoff is also an incredible guy and is one of the best makers in the flashlight business today. I rank his work right up there with Don's (McGizmo) though he caters to a vastly different audience.

Also, I just received an Olight M30 Triton in the mail today and I am very impressed with it. The MD4 definitely edges it out in terms of build quality, but the M30 is one heck of a light for the price.

WOW, but not true The runtime on max is just around 90 minutes...
