I don't understand. Isn't Nuwai a Taiwanese company? Why would someone in Taiwan import a product from a Taiwanese company through a web site in the U.S.?
Just because of my job, I stay in U.S. right now, and actually Nuwai lights in US are much cheaper than in Taiwan (Shykuang)..very strange:thinking:
Anyway, I think U.S. is a heaven to buy flashlights with lower price:drool:

The one I posted SB is aluminum with a heavy epoxy coating, it is actually a much better built lightand heavier metal than I would have expected for $15.

I ordered one a couple hrs ago :sold: , for 15.00 shipped I could not resist.

The taskforce (already pointed out by jayb79) and the possability of it being on clearance at lowes (pointed out by me in one of his links)... is a decent little light with a lot of room for modding (plenty of heat sinking)...

there are such an enourmous number of lights that use AAAs... here's a handfull sold by Dae over at qualitychinagoods.com ...

If you want to really burn through them fast- buy one of those with over 40 LEDs that uses 3-4 AAAs....

The 28LED 3xAAA lights are very decent for the money.

I am impressed enough with this I bought 3 more.

Had some problems with 2 tailcap clickie springs (fixed) so the twisty version might be better.

The TM-310H (1AAA) fits nicely into a pocket.
The L0P goes through batteries faster.

Electrolumens My Little Friend eats 4AAA every 27 minutes. Will use up 100 in no time atall.

Whoops!!! I need to be more careful. The LX 3.0 takes 3 AA's not AAA's.

Thats a good price, ive been wanting one of those for a while. They do not give a Lumens rating, do you know about what it is? Also is the beam a flood type or concentraded hot spot.

I am not so much a flashlight guy as I am a headlamp guy, but that Electrolumens "Little Friend' looks bad arse!!!

I just wish I had the cash burning a hole in my pocket, it would be gone SO fast for that light.

Nice!!:sold::takeit:

I just got a Magellan 1wt. AAA at Academy for $9. It is small and seems to have a nice throw. I have to wait till nightfall to really test it out. I have the 2C Magellan which is much larger and it does a decent job for a 2C engine. The regular retail price of the little 1wt. was $25.86.

I like the machine finish, subdued color anodization and the two level clicky. Well made lights.

To reply to this 2009 thread, has anything changed? I had the Duracell Costco bought 250 Lumen 3AAA which I liked as a nightstand light that I just threw in rechargeables. What I particular liked was the bigger head that would fully encompass my watch when I charged up the lume before retiring. However the battery carrier is cheap and two out of three lights have busted on me. Since then Costco has replaced it with the 300 lumen 4 AAA light but it's much larger and I don't think the extra lumen output is worth the size increase although it's nice to see they got rid of the useless strobe mode.

So my question, is there a decent 3AAA available light or other battery configuration light with the bigger head size (without being humongous) then what you would get in say a single AA light?

I personally like the Princeton Tec lights for multi-AAA, but they are not usually 3xAAA, except my EOS headlight. The handheld ones were always tight enough for dive light use.

My 4xAAA Attitude might not help the OP, if he still had all those AAA's, as it runs for about ever on those cells. They would go bad before he did 25 battery changes. Looks like the current model is a multi-mode Amp 3.5, with side switch. Wonder if that could be as water proof as the old twist head polycarbonate lights, with their uber-tight O-rings.

Just read more, the 2xAAA Amp 1L is still a twisty, and is rated for 100 meters depth. No depth rating on the side clicky Amp 3.5.

Maybe the Maglite XL50 or XL200. There are not many decent quality 3AAA lights on the market. At least not that I have found.

Bob hasn't been around here since May, but if he has them, I hope he kept them in a plastic tub.
