What's the best well regulated SSC-P7 flashlight ?

I mean actually or which will come in markets very soon.

There ares so many P7 flashlights in the market that I'm confused.

The most are worse (bad regulation, construction, heatsinking, ...)

I don't want to be unhappy with my future purchase.

Any model from Wolf-Eyes. I don't think there is another brand making P7 light with full regulation, besides Wolf-Eyes.

WE models with P7 accept 3,7-6,0V so they can run on CR123 as well. Problem is that none of their 3,7-6,0V are fully regulated on 18650. Why P7 must be different?

ElektroLumens EDC P7 sounds like a winner though i think orders may be closed till 2009. Check his thread in CPF Marketplace

What does regulated mean for a flashlight?

It maintains its initial output intensity (which is the number the manufacturer advertises) until the battery dies. Most lights (eg maglites) will gradually dim as the battery discharges.

hyperloop, the EDC P7 is not regulated.

I'd have to vote for the WE also. I don't know of another high-quality brand making a regulated P7 flashlight.

Also, I know you don't want me to say this, as it won't be out very soon, but I just have to - neoseikan's Legion II sounds like it will come out ahead by a mile.

Does it look like an almost perfect regulation?

I am sure someone has or can explain this better than me.

Circuitry in flashlight gives out just the amount of current to drive the light to its specs. Keeps a consistent beam till the battery really falls off. Then some lights have the internal auto switch that switches the light to moon mode to conserve power so you are not totaly in the dark.

In other words. The Circuitry keeps the light from wasting power. It regulates it througout the battery life till the tail end of the battery in use then the light will in some drop to 50% of spec output and some as stated above have auto switching to moon mode. Something like you would see on some of the first Infinity task lights.

Confused yet? I am. No really I hope this helps and like I said someone probably answered this already in this thread I did not look.
