Very efficient reflector that was like made for this LED
Yea, your not kidding. Something with this reflector makes it amazing thrower. Isn't this the same size head and reflector as the Lumintop minivn? That light is called pocket thrower and the w1 version only produces 700 Lumens and 62 kcd.
The gtmicrovn w1 does 140kcd!!! How in the world?? I love my sdminivn too. But now this light will prolly replace it.

So the mini with pencil beam is the olsen, and the micro is W2. Is there a comparison with the Mini in W2 or the Micro in the olsen? Is it reflector size that determines optimum LED?

my 1st MEGA THROWER, which ive ended up giving to my mom and dad, was the tn-31
i was completly blown away at that light for the few years i had it.
wow, something that small that blew the old HUGE spot lights away ive had thru the years, i always thought!
found this from 2012 , and had to laugh, and share it.
look at the tn-31 on the chart.
this pocket light will out throw the tn - 31 now.
actually right there with the olight sr 95, what a huge light that was !
man the times we live in ! incredible.
these were the top dogs back then !

Very cool mule!

Had to have it! Added another Tange 219B because holy crap I like it so much. I put it on one of Phuong's neck lanyards and I think that's how that light is going to be here on out. Great grab-"I have no pockets at night" light :)

Maybe this next one will actually make it to my keychain.....

RE The Mule GTmicroVN- should I stick to protected 14500s only because of the Nichia? Or are the amps split enough between the emitters to handle higher drain 14500s?

IMR14500 is recommended.

D4 has super aggressive Thermal management from the factory. I would change that up too. Instructions is a bit confusing...I am going to try it and hopefully make a quick video.
