Some people bore out SF bodies to take 18650s.

Can I bore a Surefire M2 to accept 18650 protected from AW ?
It seems to me that the "cutted" sides of the M2's body will be too thin if I bore it (I've mesured 19,7 mm)

Have already 17670, but want more runtime with the D26 3,7V 190 lumens from LF.

If it's not possible to bore the body of my M2 to accept 18650, I have the possibility to buy W-E 6AX or the Leef body 1x 18650 C2C for the M2 bezel (but this last is expensive).

Go with Leef if you plan to stick with 18650 cells. The length is just right; you won't need to add a magnet to your cell.

Go with Wolf Eyes if you think you'll start using 168A cells. The Leef would be a tight fit, and in any event, the Wolf Eyes is designed for these slightly longer cells.

M2 body can be bored to 18mm

i have a L5 body, which is the same as M2 after i put an extra o ring on the tail, with 18mm bore

When I'll receive my protected 18650 from AW, I'll check the diameter of the cells.

If it's more than 18mm, thus it's risky.
