Can this rim be fixed?

I was driving my dad's car home and had to swerve to miss another car that cut me off. I hit a curb with the force of 1000 mules. Is there hope for this rim? It's all the same rim just spun around a bit.

^ Agreed.. Tire side wall has been compromised along with the bent rim bead.
Time to visit a Pick'n Pull wrecking yard, buy a couple wheels.

Have a tire shop give them both a L@@K and check the car for damage. i.e. tie rods, ball joints, alignment ... etc.

Like CG said have the suspension checked too.

On the bright side, it wasn't a custom wheel that would have set you back a few thousand to replace.

Steel wheels are super cheap. No point in risking your safety.

By looking at that wheel, I'd say it came off a Kia or Hyunda? .. and most likely doesn't travel at very high speeds. Although fast enough to kill oneself and others.

Op said it hit with the force of 1000 mules, not 10, not 100.

So yeah the force of 1000 mules pretty much means it's done for. Maybe if it hit with the force of ten mules it could be whacked back into round shape and maybe even roll decently. But I'm pretty sure his dad will notice something changed since the last time he drove the car.... maybe not.

Now the force of 100 mules, yeah dad is going to notice the square spot in the wheel. You can balance an egg but you can't make it roll good.

So the force of 1000? Forget about it.

Looking closer at that picture, it appears to only be flat on the bottom maybe be okay?😁

That's steel rim and possibly from cheap car.
Not worth to fix since used one won't cost too much.
