Casual use of Sanyo charger

I use a maha 9000 and watch my batteries and charging closely like many here do.

I want to get my father a 2xAA flashlight gift with Eneloops. I expect very casual use of flashlight and charger. Maybe even batteries left in charger for long periods of time, take out when needed and old batteries in flashlight popped back in charger.

Sanyo packages several varieties of dumb to semi-dumb chargers with the Eneloops.

While I understand that longevity and other parameters of batteries may not be achieved to max, will there be any significant issue with him just using these chargers for the usage I described?

My set like that's worked fine for the past year.

Yeah, I would really hope it would work fine as it is packaged with cells.

Of course Sanyo is not trying to maximize performance beyond normal.
