Hey folks!
I saw amazon is selling the 3c lights for 8.35 + free shipping.

I know everybody is about cree and stuff but I think 3 C has the best form factor and great run times. If you decide you want led, you can add a 3 watter:rock: for the best performance of all mag led dropin's!!

Get it while you can.

Have fun.

Thanks for the heads-up on this. I just snatched up 3 to take advantage of the FREE super saver shipping discount. I've been meaning to pick up a couple of these but the 3xC Mags are almost impossible to find in normal brick and mortar stores. At <$9 shipped this is just too good an opportunity to pass up.

Good price. Too bad I can't think of any good use for them, other than to moved the LED modules over from the 3D bodies. Other than that, I can't think of a single use for these.

So why do I think I'm going to end up with three of these? :(

Thanks for nothing Newuser01 ;)

The only ones that I saw where 17.00, am I missing something?

I know this sounds blasphemous, but whew!
Now I have no reason to order them :)

On the other hand, if I had and since you're in the area, you would have been a good candidate to unload them on once I came to my senses. I wonder if they just had some in old packaging that they had to unload. That's how the Fry's $9.99 and 4.99 Mag lights came about last year; they were the ones that didn't have "Krypton" on the package just before the MagLED's came out. Oddly enough, there are still Mag packages on the shelves of various store that still have the old packaging.

Wow, that must have sold out fast.

I tried that but they only had 3 left.
When I tried to order them it would only let me order one.
Since you needed 3 or order over $25 for free ship, I gave up.
Didn't last very long.

Quite a few people like to mod these lights -- ROP, etc. And adding a cheap LED module to these makes a good, long-running emergency light.

I know, but I'd probably do that with a 2 cell body rather than a 3. And as for the MagLED modules, I really do prefer the 3 cell version in C bodies. Not just because they are more compact, but also because of the shorter battery life (yes!, I did say shorter) that lessens the potential for battery leakage if the batteries are left in there too long (I'm very good at neglect :) ).
