I have searched for a topic on this, as I am quite positive it has been posted...... but I haven't found anything

I have been reading CPF for a few weeks and quite often run across people telling others to clean this or that, oil this or that --
My question is -- how do you properly clean and oil the light?
I just bought my first (what ya'll would call "real") flashlight.
Its a Fenix TK11 R2 - for a weapon mounted light. I would like to know about cleaning and oiling (what kind of oil / oil goes where) ect ect..

Could someone please give me a link to a thread detailing this or info on how / what / when / where

In Advance -- Thank you

clean the threads and O-rings with alcohol, and use some kind of grease without petroleum(petro jelly, gun lubes, etc). I find the radioshack precision oiler works fairly well. Some other great lubes are silicone grease, nyogel, krytox, and teflon oil.

A lot of us lunatics, oops, I mean enthusiasts, have been using
some nifty red cleaning fluid called DeoxIT™.

It seems to remove more oxide "gunk" than just about anything else
on the market, and works on all your other electronic goodies also.
