Are there any Clicky CR123 or CR2 lights around that come on in a low low (programmable) or single mode low low for under $50 (or cheaper). Looking at getting a very long running, very long shelf life, very low output (probably between 2 lumen and just above zero) clicky for the wife to use so I can claim my Novatac back...

if one doesn't exist, then I guess I could buy myself a Ra clicky and let the missus keep the novatac

that akoray k-109 is a pretty good size, and a price that i can't complain about. How low is the low?

So far I am looking at this one if the low is low, and also the 4sevens regular (or regular r2) 123. Will probably diffuse whichever light I get, so beam pattern isn't too important.

Any suggestions for CR2

I don't own one but do a search it is a very popular light around here and it is programmable so it should be able to get a pretty decent low, although I'm not sure if it will be as low as you want. To get a truly low low you usually have to spend quite a bit. My lowest low is probably the qmini 123 and it is still plenty bright.
