Sears has the Dorcy 3-watt, 3aaa on sale. 50% off the original price or around $18. Is this a good light and is it worth buying at this price?

I think its a great little light and own 2 of 'em. For $18 I don't think you can go wrong. Of course, the newer cree lights are much brighter and the batts will last longer, but you can't find any cree lights at B&M's yet (in my area anyway).

Is it the smaller one pictured below? Two of my favorite torches.

The abs plastic 3aaa is 29.99. the aluminum 3aaa is 25.99.. I dont think that is 50% off.. But for 18 bucks the abs plastic model is a good first edc. And then when you step up you can always give it to a budding flashaholic.

I just bought one this last weekend for $17.95 at Sears. I'm impressed with it. It's bright and well made. Great indoor light, it'll light up a room!
